At Boksschool Barry Groenteman, we believe everyone should be able to experience the power of boxing – including those aged 55 and over. That’s why we’ve developed a special program just for this group: 55+ Boxing.
Why 55+ Boxing?
Many people over 55 are looking for a place not only to exercise, but also to stay fit, gain energy, and meet new people. Boxing is perfect for that:
•It improves fitness and coordination.
•It strengthens muscles and bones, which becomes more important as you get older.
•It reduces stress and boosts enjoyment.
•And perhaps most importantly: it creates a close-knit and welcoming group where everyone feels at home.
What to expect?
Our training sessions are approachable and delivered with care and attention. No heavy sparring, but boxing workouts tailored to your pace and level. It’s all about moving, having fun, and challenging yourself within safe and positive boundaries.
How does participation work?
For 55+ Boxing, you can purchase a special punch card:
•€75 per card
•10 training sessions
•Especially designed for those who don’t have a regular membership, but want to join exclusively for 55+ Boxing.
This way you can participate flexibly, without committing to a full membership.
